does anyone know the diagnosis for dilocated lasik flap ? would it be 379.32 or 379.39 ??

flap vs Lens

379.32, 379.39, and 996.53 have to do with the intraocular lens not the corneal flap done for LASIK. For the corneal flap dislocation I use 998.89

I think a better code would be 998.32 Disruption of external operation (surgical) wound. It would appear that 998.89 would be assigned in the instance of a procedure performed on the wrong body site, along with the appropriate E876.5-E876.7 code.
