We have a lot of newborns that we bill for, who are admit/disc on the same day so we bill 99463. Medi-Cal does not recognize this CPT code, and I cannot find what is the appropriate way to bill this. They do not seem to have a way to bill for same day admit/discharge. Are we only to bill the 99460? Any help would be appreciated.
