I have a question about dispensing medication from our clinic pharmacy to TennCare recipents. We can not bill the medication we dispense to the patient to their insurance, we are a FQHC clinic and can provide medication to patients using their income to quailfy. Some of our providers has started dispensing 1 Zofran to a patient while in the office insurance or not and we have the patient to pay for the medication but can we legally make a TennCare recipent pay for the meds we dispense to them? Any information is greatly appreciated
