If our Podiatrist gives a Medicare patient a DME supply what all documentation do we need? Since we are ordering it and dispensing it do we need both the initial order and something saying it was dispensed? Thanks for your help!

You will need Physician orders from the patients primary care physician on file and documentation showing when the item was dispensed. Cannot bill for that item until the day that you give it to the patient.
