Wiki Do I need to get 2021 AMA books to take exam in mid January?

I have 2020 AMA books that I purchased in middle of September. Do I need to purchase 2021 books in order to take online exam in mid January? I won't be ready to take the CPC exam until then.

The way I read it was you can use the prior year book on exam but you must also be aware that the test will be for the current year and your book may be outdated.

My test is scheduled for the first week in March. Can I still use the 2020 books ? Also what version of the code books are allowed?

You can use the prior year's books but may be at a disadvantage as the test does change as of January 1. You will want to check here to see what version of the code books are allowed:
