If you were told to code from a spreadsheet created by an anesthesiologist, would you feel comfortable with this? You would only receive the spreadsheet listing the patients' names, some of the surgeons' CPT codes and diagnoses (some are codes & some are not). No face sheets from facilities and no anesthesia records.
 
I would not code anything without a report.

Our doctors send in spreadsheets, but we access the reports in the EMR and code from that.

If they are only giving you the Demographic information and what the surgeon is coding at best you could come up with a CPT code, but no times to bill with? So they make $0.00 and that makes .00 cents(sense) haha, sorry its late... But no I wouldn't...
