Wiki Does 2nd surgeon need a H&P ?

Hello, I have a question about a surgery where 2 DR. are performing 2 different procedures. Dr. A performs a Hysterectomy with an H&P.
Does Dr. B who come in after and performs a Lap Chole, does Dr. B also need to dictate a H&P ?

No, the H&P is usually just a records requirement by the hospital prior to admitting a patient. Any physician can perform the H&P for that admission - there wouldn't be any reason or necessity to have multiple physicians do this.
