What is the difference when billing cpt 93320 spectral doppler and cpt 93325 color flow velocity mapping?
Can cpt 93325 color flow be done without 93320?
I'm coding for a new acquisition, the provider did a complete stress echo with 'doppler and color flow'. Normally we bill 93351, 93320, 93325, but his office manager thinks cpt 93320 doppler spectral display is not being done, that they 'never' do this.
The exercise stress test reads as echocardiography with doppler and color flow, with this excerpt -
Doppler Measurements TR Vel: xxx cm.
Does this constitute the use of spectral doppler 93320 and 93325?
