I have a question about drain bag exchanges. Our physicians will put in drain tubes and will follow-up in our office in 1-2 weeks. Sometime the pt's bag will need to be exchanged. Is there a code we can bill for the bag exchange? Also is there a code for flushing the tubes if there is a clog in the line?

For flushing the tube, it would be an E&M code, new bags are equipment charges.
