Wiki Drilling a bone

I code for a vascular surgeon and he did a procedure I am not sure how to code. The patient had a trasmetatarsal amputation done previously & the doctor debrided the necrotic tissue. He also documented, "A drill technique was performed along the tarsal bones to allow for release of the marrow to assist in granulation formation."

Any help would be much appreciated!

Sounds like a microfracture procedure to me...you might be looking at an unlisted code. Anyone?
