For drug screening

1. Is it acceptable to bill for a quantitative test when we have not performed a qualitative test first?

2. If the quantitative test that we perform is negative can we still bill for it?

For example we bill for a quantitative test for benzodiazepines, 80154, the result is negative, are we still allowed to bill for this?

If we are not allowed to bill for it would you please give me a reference for the information.

I very much appreciate any direction, information or resources you can give me.
