When a physician, who is the designated Medical Review Officer, does an over read on a drug screen previously interpreted by an outside laboratory, is there a billable charge to either the patient or the employer if it is work comp? Is there anyone out there who is doing this procedure within an occupational/work comp setting who is willing to explain this process?
