Hello,
I have a clinic that is asking how to bill for the time spent adjusting a patients duopa and the associated monitoring. The monitoring/surveillance takes place over several hours. Does anyone know if there is an adjustment code? I have been losing sleep over this. The best I can come up with is for the provider to do the neurological exam, make the adjustment, do another neurological exam, etc and then add the accumulated face-to-face time and bill based on that, but I am not sure. If anyone has any information I would be most grateful.
