Hi Group,

If anyone would please give insite on the usage and difference between
794.30 Abnormal function test Cardiovascular and
794.39 Abnormal function test, Other, Cardiovascular

Dr. A orders a Nuc to evaluate you Angina, Nuc test come back with abnormal findins. Dr. B orders a Stree Echo with test indication of Abnormal Nuclear.

Would 794.30 or 794.39 be used for test indicated by Dr. B.

I'm trying to under the difference, and when each of them should be used. Thanks
 
794.30 would be for an abnormal cardiovascular test (not specifing what kind of test)
794.39 would be for a specific abnormal cardiovascular test (ex: stress test, vectorcardiogram, etc)

If Dr. B specified "Abnormal Nuclear stress test" I would use 794.39
