Wiki DX code for "Organic Brain Impairment" ??

Pt is now 60 years old but had a brain injury as a child. Doctor has labeled this as orgain brain impairment. Any thoughts on how to code this? I've looked up impairment and disorder but there is nothing there that seems to fit. Thanks.

Maybe look at V1552 and V1559? I have used these in the past with a comparable chart.

Also maybe look at 310.8 and 310.9??

I am not quiet following you about this dx but have you looked under Syndrome, Organic brain? 293.9 is what I've used before for Organic Brain dx.

293.9 is more psychosis than I believe they need for this patient. Maybe 331.83?
