I am searching for a dx code to go with a Synagis vaccine for a 3 month old infant who was exposed to unspecified air pollutants (unknown drugs; meth & who knows what else) from before birth to one month of age. He has no diagnosed respiratory effects (yet) but Dr. wants to get a Synagis covered by MHS. Probably needs to include some sort of respiratory reference. I could only come up with 760.70, 508.9 or 987.9 but none of these I'm really happy with. Any suggestions?..............Melinda Navara, CPC
 
How about V04.82? Need for prophylactic vaccination and inoculation against certain viral diseases...Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).;)
