Wiki Dx code - intrauterine gestatioal

Pt's hx is positive pregnancy test...she had a OB transabdominal and transvaginal US performed...impression states: no evidence of intrauterine gestatioal sac.

I was just going to use positive pregnancy test but I can't find a dx?

V72.40 - V72.42 are the codes you want. I wonder if V72.40 (unconfirmed) is most appropriate since no sac was seen on US...

I would use V72.40 since the US did not indicate anything. Just my two cents!
