This really bothers me when Dr's. recall a patient back to go over a normal mammogram. Any input on a dx code would be appreciated.
 
We just use Z12.31, since patient is there to discuss it.

Or consider Z71.2, person consulting for explanation of examination or test findings.

BTW, our clinic would not charge for a return visit when findings are normal UNLESS some education/counseling is done, or any other issue is addressed.
 
You really shouldn't be billing for this. Its not medically necessary and van be considered abuse under fraud waste and abuse initiatives, especially by government payers. This information can be communicated by mail or a by a quick phone call.
