Order states signs/symptoms: LEFT THROMBOPHLEBITIS

Report:

LEFT LOWER EXTREMITY DUPLEX VENOUS US

HISTORY: LEFT SIDED THROMBOPHLEBITIS

THE COMMON FEMORAL, SUPERFICIAL FEMORAL, AND THE POPLITEAL VEINS DEMONSTRATE SPONTANEOUS PHASIC FLOW, COMPRESSIBILITY, AND RESPONSE TO AUGMENTATION.

IMPRESSION: NEGATIVE FOR DVT

V71.89 OR 451.2?????

I'd go with thrombophlebitis - 451.2 - no DVT 453.4x found, but still had/has thrombophleitis... right? no need for the generic Vcode...
