When foster children are taken to ED for checkup before being taken to foster home does anyone know what dx code Medicaid is looking for?
They are denying Z00.xxx. The only code I am coming up with is Z71.1 - Person with feared health complaint in whom no diagnosis is made (Person encountering health services in which problem was normal state) Any other suggestions? Or agree? Thanks
