How do you code for Histroy of Radiation without using the v-code? Our doc performed 92511 because of the history of radiation exposure and wants to use the V-code V15.3 but it is not exceptible with Medicare. Help him please
 
I am assuming the radiation was for neoplasm. So I would code the hx of neoplasm from the V10.x category and use the V15.3 secondary. V15.3 is secondary only allowed as a dx code for all payers.
