Any suggestions on which E code would be most appropriate for a patient presenting with a GSW inflicted by a home owner during a home invasion?
I don't believe we can use E970-E978 since it was not by a law enforcement agent.
I did not want to use E965 since it was not an assault but rather an act of self defense.
