I would like other opinions on an E-code for a TV falling on a person and causing ankle injury, but no documentation that the person fell.

Hi, there,! I suppose you have your answer by now because I saw your post in another forum but I could find E916 from the Index to External Causes, "Hit, hitting (accidental) by" ---> object---> falling = E916. But once there you'll find instruction to "CODE FIRST..."

Then you can try "striking against" and if you notice there is the term object (moving), which in your case is furniture --> E917.3 = Furniture without subsequent fall if op reports supports no fall.
