Under the new guidelines, it appears most Pediatric visits will be 99212 or 99213 majority of visits are acute in nature. I'm struggling with a few items if anyone else can chime in
1) Inhouse lab performed- U/A - Quick strep- Rapid Flu-CBC-Rapid Covid19 - since we will bill for the test separately- this is excluded from MDM- I've seen several opinions on this- if the lab would count it would support a higher level without and no RX mgmt these are low level visits
2) G2211- add on code for visit complexity- as defined this appears to be applicable for chronic conditions- examples of when not use "viral illness" does anyone have any thought as when this could be used in Peds- ADD- ADHD-Depression -Behavioral Health-Diabetes?
