Wiki E/M and Physiologist New Patient visit on same day

Can a Physical Medicine and Rehab physician bill and E/M code and a physiologist bill a NP visit or Follow up visit on the same day, if they are in the same group? All billing will be under the same Tax ID number. They are 2 different specialties.
 
If they are different specialties the different specialties should get paid because the taxonomies are different. If, denied call in to notify the insurance so they will re-process correctly or appeal with the chart notes.
