Wiki E/M and procedure on the same day

If a patient has a procedure on the same day as an E/M. The procedure is perfomed by a different provider than the E/M visit. Can both be approved?

yes- can you be more specific? I.E. is this patient being seen in the office setting or outpatient/obs or inpatient hospital?
