I am auditing the physical portion of an e/m visit. There was an anxiety assessment done (called The Generalized Anxiety Disorder GAD-7 Anxiety Scale). The questions are all related to worrying and nervousness, anxiety, and feeling on edge. My question is: would I be able to count this as mood and affect under the Psychiatric portion of the physical exam?
