Is there an E/M code that we can use for a patient that was not seen in the office but parent/guardian came in to see the PMHNP? This child is developmentally delayed and had a meltdown at school. Parents did not bring him in for his scheduled appointment but the parent did come in and saw the PMHNP and did prescribe medication.
