For the practice of Dermatology and the performance of a minor surgical procedure, what is considered a "significant, separately identifiable E/M service by the same physician or other qualified healthcare professional on the same day of the procedure or other service?"
 
Hi,
One example that comes to mind is that the Provider did LN2 on a wart and then the patient had acne and is on accutane that they are checking labs or a rash that was prescribed some antibiotic ointment.
