Does anyone know if any part of the reimbursement for E&M codes is payment for staff? For example, if we billed under a physician, the insurance would reimburse him/her. If it was someone else's staff and office, what percentage would go to the doctor? For equipment, we know the doctor would just reimburse us what the technical component would be, but I wasn't sure if E&M worked the same way or if it all went to the doctor?
