A patient came in with a boil on her leg so my doctor did an I&D. My doctor has been seeing the patient for her antenatal care so what diagnosis code should I use? I know 680.6 for the boil of the thigh but what pregnancy complication code should I use. I was told to use 648.93. This patient had morning sickness as well and the doctor wrote a prescription for her. I wanted to use 643.03 as a pregnancy complication code.
