Hello,

I am currently taking the E/M course online and I am not understanding the basic concepts. I am good with learning the information, however, when it comes to applying the info to the dissection of notes to find the levels of Hx, Exam, and MDM, I am totally lost. I do have audit sheets but I haven't gotten the gist of using them. Is there anyone who can give me some pointers please?

Really feeling dazed and confused!
 
The best help will be one on one. Have you connected with your local chapter? Often times they are a great resource and have the ability to sit down with you to review specific examples.

It takes a little bit of adjustment to get use to the point process of coding E&M as well as how to classify the history, exam, etc. Keep going, it will eventually click. :)
 
Thanks so much! I have attempted a specialty exam and I realize that my weakest are was the E/M. I will continue to try and ask members in my local chapter for assistance. Thanks again!
