Hi Everyone,

There is something I want to clarify when it comes to one of the Data Points. "Review and summarization of old records and/or obtaining history from someone other than the patient and/or discussion of case with another health care provider."

My question comes from the angle of a PA. If a PA must discuss their case with an Attending, does this count as discussing a case with another health care provider? I just want to make sure I am reading this accurately.

Any thoughts?

This situation doesn't count as "discussion of case with another health care provider" since the attending has a supervisory relationship with the PA.
