My practice manager has mentioned having an inhouse auditor and I've offered to step up, so I've been doing some research on training courses. I've taken a brief seminar on it before and used the tools, but auditing is not part of my daily routine. My question is, what would everyone recommend as far as using the study guide and studying for the E/M exam? If auditing is not specifically a part of my daily routine, is that an unreasonable expectation? What steps would you recommend I follow to become proficient enough to take the exam?
