Hello! Our providers tend to biopsy skin rashes or NUB's. While they are waiting for biopsy results, a treatment plan will be made and prescriptions written that are not related to the procedure but to relieve discomfort for the patient, such as rx strength hydrocortisone for the itch or other prescriptions. Would you say this is enough to warrant a separate and identifiable E/M and append modifier -25?
