Hello fellow ENT coders:

For Example: Our MD does 69210 ear wax removal.
The patient also has perforated tympanic membrane and MD advises dirty water precautions and notes perforation in EXAM and Hx and MDM.
Can we bill an office visit?

2nd example: Patient comes in with chronic otitis externa. It is caused by a fungus and MD treats with OTC recommendation. Otitis externa is noted in Hx and Exam and MDM.
Is the office visit billable?
thank yo

At the end it depends of what the Provider document regarding the management. Go to your tablet and level. If vitals were taken .. I think it may be a level 3 but I am talking with assumption. It all depends.

Hope it helps somehow!
