If my provider does different types of biopsies on a lymph node and uses EBUS -aspiration and forceps on same lymph node -we would count it as one station and bill a 31652. Is that correct? I was told that any biopsy done on the stations are included in EBUS code. If he does 1 station and then uses forceps to biopsy a lung lobe we can bill a 31652 and 31628. And if he does 1 station with biopsy of bronchia or endobronchial we can bill a 31652 and 31625. He told me that he was told that he could bill a 31628 every time he does a forceps biopsy. Am I telling him correctly? If anyone has a site that has good information on billing EBUS procedures- I would love to get the links. Thank you for any help
