I find this statement often on the findings of echo's "the patient has reduced ventricular function." Is there a diagnosis for "reduced ventricular function?" I do not think I50.1 is correct.

I would recommend querying the physician for a more specific diagnosis or for an interpretation of the ejection fraction. Especially if there isn't any other mention of heart failure or it's symptoms. If they are just noticing a change but not anything significant enough to warrant a diagnosis, have you looked at R91.3?
