Hi,

I am very new to cardiology and was asked the following question:

In our echo department a stress echocardiogram was performed with the patient's dual pacemaker being re-programmed before and after the test. I believe that interrogation charge 93289 applies in this incidence.

The other codes billed for this service are 93724 and 93290. Can this question be answered with this information or is there additional information needed?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm not sure what the question is. Were some of the codes denied? Or are you making sure 93289 is correct?

Were you seeking CPT codes for SE (stress echo)?

The question is what to charge for a Stress Echo where they reprogrammed a dual chamber pacemaker before and after the test?

Do you need more information?
