Wiki ED E/M visit & OBS on the same day

Patient visits ED in the morning and was evaluated by the physician and later the patient eloped; after 4 hrs the patient return back to ED and admitted to OBS.

Can we bill for both the services here on the same day!

Yes you can bill both e/m and obs just use your modifiers. Payer may come back and want documentation but ours gets paid all the time.
