Please help!!I bill for a hospitalist group, and we have some physicians that also work as ED physicians for the hospital, and they are billing out the ED visit under the hospital's tax id. My question is:
Can a physician that sees a patient in the ED (and the hospital bills out that charge under the hospitals tax id) also round on the same patient (billed under our hospitalist group tax id) on the same day??? The only info I can find on this is all charges being billed under the same tax id #.
