I am feeling left out. I asked this question but I will ask again,
I need to know if you can charge for an ED visit if your facility is NOT licensed by the State as an ED BUT as an Urgent Care. We do have signs out stating "Open 24 hours open 7 days a wk."
I don't understand how we can bill as an Emergency Dept when we are not NOT qualify as an ED.
We are attached to a hospital.
Someone PLEASE help.
