Hi Friends,

Our Physician provided interpretation of EEG during carotid surgery(95955.26)
which usually take 20mins of time. But this time it took around 2hrs for the same. Now I would like to know that which other CPT code we should code along with 95955.26 for the extra time spent by physician in the operating room.
Please help.

Those codes are not time based. If all the provider did was the EEG there is nothing else you can bill. It doesn't matter if it takes 2 minutes or all day, you still get paid the same.
