We typically do EEGs on adults but every once in a while we have neonates squeeze through being done by our inpatient Neurohospitalists.

Are there separate Neonatal EEG codes used and is it age determined or EEG determined?

As far as I am aware there are not separate codes for EEG for neonates nor any modifier that can be used. Just the routine EEG codes by time.
