I have 2 reports: both docs have same specialty
1st doc - performed egd and called in 2nd doc to remove submucosal mass w/ulceration & recent bleed in 2nd part of duodenum. Once 2nd doc was done the 1st doc then completed egd and dictated report.
2nd doc - removed duodenal lesion. Two ligatures (endoloops) were placed. One hemostaic clip placed at base. Polyp removed via hot snare and removed via roth ned. resection completed. 2nd doc dictated report
How would you code this? Can you use a 62 modifier on EGD codes?
