Hi ... What would be the appropriate procedure code for the above procedure? Thanks.;)
 
91110 Gastrointestinal tract imaging, intraluminal (eg, capsule endoscopy), esophagus through ileum, with physician interpretation and report
bill with -52 modifier if ileum is not reached

Generally only covered by most payers if looking for GI bleeding without finding a cause after small bowel follow through, EGD and colonoscopy or for suspected crohn's or small bowel neoplasm again after traditional tests have failed to find a cause for symptoms. capsule EGD is only covered by Medicare for esophageal varices.
