We are billing for the professional side ED provider. Patient presented with CP, EKG was performed and read by ED Provider however the patient left before provider could evaluate patient.

Provider has a complete EKG interp - can this be billed without an E/M under the provider if they didn't see the patient? If so, can I use the presenting chief complaint as my diagnosis?
