Our Dr. is billing for interpretation after a patient is seen in the ER. The test takes place in the ER and is documented with the findings and also states "interpretated by me" meaning the ER doc. Can our Dr. also bill for the read when he is reviewing them? My feeling is no, that the ER doc will bill.
Thanks
