pronator teres syndrome

Hi,

Elbow flexor pronator syndrome is otherwise known as pronator teres syndrome. Whenever the median nerve compressed in between the two heads of pronator teres muscle it will cause numness, pain.

Pronator teres syndrome is a compression neuropathy of the median nerve at the elbow.

354.1 is the code for neuropathy, median nerve (elbow level). If it is compressed at the level of wrist, code for median nerve neuropathy is 354.0 (Carpal tunnel syndrome).

Regards,

Dhanesh M
