New to psychiatry--Under the baker act law regarding electroconvulsive (ECT) treatment we are required to obtain a 2nd opinion for med. necc.
Would CPT 90889 or 90885 be appropriate to bill for the provider who is only reviewing the patients chart to authorize for electroconvulsive (ECT) treatment?

I would not bill the 90889 as he's not really writing up a report. I think 90885 would probably be ok.

I would read the assistant articles on it

supervising physician

I need to know how many medical students can a supervising physician supervise, and is there a specific code or modifier that I need to use. This is for mental health..thank you
